MiA ♥s the BPO

We just wanted to say thanks to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Their world-renowned talent and accessibility make them a huge asset to our region, but they offer even more than that. The BPO continually makes efforts to reach new audiences with shows like their upcoming Led Zepplin ode at the Hard Rock Cafe Outdoor Summer Concert Series and last year’s debut at our Music is Art Festival.

Please be sure to head out to Old Falls Street this Saturday to support the Orchestra who supports this city so well. We’re willing to bet you wont have heard the BPO or Led Zepplin in quite the same way before! Those who get there by 6pm will enjoy a special performance by Six String Circus, a student group who took the title at MiA’s 2010 Mardi Gras Jam Battle, winning the opportunity to open for Preservation Hall on the BPO’s home-turf, Kleinhans Music Hall, and a slot at the Music is Art Festival.
